To fit in all the fun summer has to offer, we offer a condensed class schedule this session. By meeting multiple times per week, students will see greater progress in vocabulary retention and muscle memory in a shorter period of time. Have fun with new friends, learn from fabulous instructors, and try a new genre!

Young Dancer Camps

“Carnival of the Animals” Camp
Ages 3 – 5 | June 11 – 15 | 9 am – 10 am | $75

A creative exploration of ballet and movement through Saint Saëns’ witty musical suite.


Division I
Ages 6 – 8 | June 18 – 22 | 9 am – noon | $250

Daily ballet classes, exploration of Modern, Contemporary, Jazz & choreography.  Snack provided.  Showcase for parents on the last day.


Division II
Ages 8 – 11 | June 18 – 22 | 10 am – 2pm | $300

Daily Classes in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Pointe Prep, Dance History, and Acting.  Bring a packed lunch.  Showcase for parents on the last day.

The Pre-Professional Dancer

This summer, ABAA offers a one-of-a-kind program for the pre-professional dancer.  Each session offers a well-rounded intensive curriculum for the aspiring dancer to thrive over the summer months.  Director approval is required for these programs for students ages 11+.

 

Summer Dance Intensive | June 11-15
$500 Senior Division | $400 Junior Division

An effective stepping stone to prepare students for Summer Intensive programs farther from home, right here at home.  Instructors take a vested interest in each student's goals and progress.  An intense, yet fun week of well-rounded study, culminating with a showcase at the Hilde Performance Center.

Pre-Professional Study | June 18 - August 3
$1950

A high-quality training program for the serious dancer, comprised of 12+ hours per week of study.  This individualized program includes daily classes in Ballet, Pointe & Contemporary, as well as private lessons with the Directors and on the Pilates Reformer.  This program is for dancers 12+ and has an enrollment limit of 12 students.  Apply today!

Choreography Intensive | August 13-17
$500 Senior Division | $400 Junior Division

This program maintains an emphasis on daily technique classes while also aiding dancers' mastery of artistic and performance skill.  Students will learn new choreographic works, as will as ABAA repertoire and the restating of classic pieces by famous choreographers.  Open to all ABAA students; required for Youth Ensemble dancers.
